Purpose

The Gold-Plated Shri Yantra (Sri Chakra) is regarded as the “Mother of all Yantras” and is one of the most revered symbols in Vedic tradition. Representing both the cosmos and the human body, it serves as a powerful tool for spiritual evolution, meditation, and material manifestation.

The Shri Yantra harmonizes the divine union of Shiva (masculine energy) and Shakti (feminine energy), making it a source of balance, abundance, divine wisdom, and higher consciousness. It is worshiped for bringing wealth, harmony, and spiritual awakening, while simultaneously removing negative energies and blockages.

Benefits

  1. Spiritual Evolution: Represents the path of creation and liberation, guiding devotees toward moksha (spiritual freedom).

  2. Material Prosperity: Attracts abundance, success, and financial stability.

  3. Balance of Energies: Aligns the cosmic masculine and feminine forces within the devotee.

  4. Chakra Alignment: Its geometry corresponds with the chakras, aiding meditation and energy flow.

  5. Harmony & Positivity: Radiates vibrations of peace, balance, and divine protection.

  6. Profound Meditation Tool: Deepens focus, clarity, and connection to universal principles.

How to Place the Yantra

1. Ideal Location:
  • Place in the Northeast (Ishan corner) of your home, meditation space, or puja altar.

  • Can also be kept in the living room, workplace, or cash box for prosperity.

  • Avoid placing in the bathroom, under staircases, or directly on the ground.

2. Correct Orientation:
  • The Yantra should face East or North.

  • If installed on a wall, keep the center of the Yantra at eye level.

3. Auspicious Days:
  • Best installed on Friday (day of Goddess Lakshmi), Diwali, or during Shukla Paksha (waxing moon).

  • Installation during Pushya Nakshatra or an auspicious muhurta enhances its potency.

4. Purification & Setup:
  • Bathe and wear clean clothes (preferably red, yellow, or white).

  • Purify the area with Ganga Jal or water infused with saffron/tulsi leaves.

  • Place the Yantra on a red or yellow cloth over a wooden stand or altar.

5. Activation Ritual:
  • Light a ghee lamp and incense.

  • Offer red flowers, kumkum, turmeric, fruits, and sweets.

  • Chant the Shri Yantra Mantra:

    Sanskrit: ॐ श्रीं ह्रीं श्रीं कमले कमलालये प्रसीद प्रसीद ॐ श्रीं ह्रीं श्रीं महालक्ष्म्यै नमः
Transliteration: Om Shreem Hreem Shreem Kamale Kamalalaye Praseed Praseed Om Shreem Hreem Shreem Mahalakshmyai Namah

  • Recite the mantra 108 times daily using a rudraksha or sphatik mala for prosperity and spiritual upliftment.

Special Worship

Every Gold-Plated Shri Yantra is ritually consecrated (Pran Pratishtha) by Shri Ram Panditji, a traditionally trained Vedic priest, inside a 1500-year-old temple. The consecration involves:

  1. Purification (Shuddhi) with mantras, Ganga Jal, and sacred herbs.

  2. Avahan (Invocation) of Goddess Lakshmi and divine cosmic energies into the Yantra.

  3. Sri Sukta Japa (11,000 repetitions) to energize the Yantra with vibrations of prosperity.

  4. Lakshmi Homa (fire ritual) with lotus flowers, ghee, and sacred grains.

  5. Ashirvad (Blessing Ceremony) sealing the Yantra with divine energies for lifelong efficacy.

The sanctified Yantra is then sent to you along with temple Prasad (kumkum, turmeric, sacred thread, and sweets), carrying the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi and the cosmic powers of the Shri Yantra.
